Erwin Hymer Group Nowa Sól with a Sapphire Eco-Friendly certificate
Erwin Hymer Group Nowa Sól Sp. z o.o. with a Sapphire Eco-Friendly certificate. Ecological activities and education in this regard remain a topic of extraordinary importance for the management of Erwin Hymer Group Ltd. Responsible caravanning and the appropriate use of nature’s resources are the designations of the Nowa Sól company’s activities and processes. The Board of Directors of Erwin Hymer Group has provided financial support to the Municipal Utilities Company Ltd. As part of the funding, MZGK organized an educational workshop “Where does the water in the tap come from and what influences its conservation?”. The target audience of the company’s activities were students of Nowa Sól elementary schools.
We are actively involved in ecological educational activities, knowing that they are what builds sustainability and intergenerational solidarity. As an industry leader, we are obliged to carry out climate-neutral production while protecting its resources. We treat caring for pro-environmental education, including among the youngest, as a top priority.
– informs Paulina Zator, Commercial Director

Corporate social responsibility, including ecological activities, means caring for the nearest neighbor, including concern for future generations. The Sapphire Eco-Friendly certificate obtained by the company is not only an expression of appreciation, it is first and foremost an opportunity to shape environmental awareness among the youngest.

Concern for the environment is not limited to segregating garbage, it is above all a way of thinking and a way of being. The workshop, offered as part of the MZGK campaign, showed that everyone, even the smallest person, is part of nature. And it is this youngest person who models from adults. Do you tell your children nature trivia? Here’s one of them: an adult 60-year-old pine tree produces oxygen up to for 3 people.
– concludes Paulina Zator

Employees of Erwin Hymer Group Nowa Sól wear hearts on their sleeve, which is why they took part in a charity tournament of the same name
Last Saturday, 29 June 2024, representatives of the Nowa Sól company bravely competed in a charity tournament for the benefit of children and young people from the ‘Our Children’ Association. Of particular interest to the company’s employees was the football match.
The event was initiated by a four-person volunteer group under the name ‘Heart on a Sleeve’. Aleksander Szumkowski – project manager, IT, Daria Poźniak – marketing, Igor Sołtys – initiator and Alessadnro Este – an employee of EHG Nowa Sól, responsible for the football match and the closing gala. The idea behind the initiative was to integrate, meet and play for a good cause.

Many thanks to the whole team for their enormous commitment and will to win, in extreme weather conditions. Despite the fact that we formed a team in just one week, we competed on an equal footing with teams that have been playing against each other for a long time and some even train regularly. We managed to win one of the three matches. A huge regret remains after the match against RB Jager where, despite a huge lead, one counter attack from the opponents deprived us of a win and promotion to the knockout stage. In between matches, we were able to take advantage of the offers supporting the event: food trucks and a barber. In addition, the EHG team did their bit by lifting a 40 kg barbell, and for each lift a zloty was donated to the foundation. I hope this is the first, but not the last football event we will be able to participate in together!
– reports Łukasz Gajek, an employee of EHG Nowa Sól
In the Gooseberry Valley, surrounded by nature, people who are close to the welfare of children enjoyed themselves in excellent spirits. Because it was with the youngest in mind that this fantastic event was organised. The tournaments were accompanied by a noble cause – a collection was made for the benefit of children/wardens of an association which would be set up to help children placed in the Care Centre.
Today, we still have many wards and very many needs to meet, and we try to provide the best possible conditions for these children and young people to develop, educate and socialise. We also help young mothers, try to teach them how to care for their child and support them in their own learning[1]

(date of access: 07.07.2024, 15:18)
Justyna Jóźwiak-Piszczek, president of the association, adds – the money is to be used to replace electronic equipment, for new desks, beds or wardrobes. There are 65 wards under the care of the association, aged between 7 and 19. Some have been there for several years, others temporarily.
Thanks to the generosity and big hearts of the donors, participants in the event managed to raise an impressive sum of more than PLN 13,500. This is a drop in the ocean of needs, but how valuable.
And it’s not over yet! Every 1 PLN donated to the collection is a step towards achieving our common goals and supporting those who need it most. Your hearts and openness show that together we can achieve truly great things. Congratulations and thank you to each and every one of you for your presence, support and invaluable help. It is thanks to you that our initiative could be such a success.

The Management Board of Erwin Hymer Group Nowa Sól Sp. z o.o. supports corporate social responsibility activities. Initiatives that involve the company’s employees are particularly close to its heart. They engage sportingly, they engage socially, they engage as a team.
It is part of our brand DNA to support CSR activities. Social, grassroots initiatives bring the EHG team together, reinforcing a sense of purpose, of agency. Goodness, in any form and in any amount, tastes great. And goodness and decency are my favourite semantic cocktail. It is worth being decent – as Professor Władysław Bartoszewski used to say.

EHG Nowa Sól competed in the 15th Dragon Boat Regatta for the Cup of the Mayor of Nowa Sól
The 15th of June 2024 is an important date for the Employees of Erwina Hymer Group Nowa Sól. Important for 2 reasons. Firstly – it was on Saturday – that 2 teams representing EHG NS started the Dragon Boat Regatta. Secondly, it was the sporting rivalry that helped to tighten the bonds between the employees of the Nowa Sól company, building a strong team spirit, already during the preparations, i.e. training, which took place regularly, quite some time before the competition.

The Nowa Sól Dragon Boat Regatta was held for the first time in 2007 and has since become a permanent fixture in the calendar of Nowa Sól events. On the ‘Solana’ and ‘Warzelnik’, as the Nowa Sól boats decorated with a dragon’s head and tail are christened, 20-person teams as well as a helmsman and a drummer compete. Dragon Boat races have become a popular sport discipline, most favoured by associations, companies and institutions, which eagerly get involved in this recreational venture by entering their teams in the competition.
– According to the official website of the organiser – the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre in Nowa Sól
The EHG Nowa Sól competitors were inspired and encouraged to take part in the competition by Łukasz Mandzyn, who said:
This is a very cool initiative. Let’s do it and take off. What I like most about Dragon Boats is the preparation, the training – it requires teamwork, it’s difficult, but it gives a lot of satisfaction. It’s certainly quite a challenge, but we do, after all, like to overcome all obstacles… Especially as a team.
The long, arduous and difficult preparations were accompanied by commitment, sweat and even tears. Several competitors gave up before the start. The stress and adrenaline levels were at an all-time high – both during training and during the competition.

Preparations for the regatta were as interesting as they were demanding. Most of our crew members were taking part in the event for the first time, which further raised the bar. Despite adversities in the form of injuries to some of the crew, everyone rose to the challenge and prepared as well as they could.
– reports Leszek Bugajewski – skipper of the EHG NS crew

The regatta started at eleven o’clock on the 15th of June 2024. The competitors, representing the EHG Nowa Sól employer, turned up much earlier. Both Leszek Bugajewski and Łukasz Mandzyn (captains of the teams) took care of the training before and the good atmosphere during the sporting rivalry, as it is, after all, what builds a team. The meeting was opened by Beata Kulczycka, Mayor of Nowa Sól.
(…) The atmosphere on the river Oder is very pleasant for me. First of all, I would like to welcome you to the Dragon Boat Regatta, no matter if it is the XVII or XVIII. The important thing is that this is a piece of our history, the history of the city. I remember when we bought the first dragon boat. It is our tradition and history that accompanies the celebration of the city of Nowa Sól. It’s also fun, inclusive and a piece of honour that you have to defend,
– said Beata Kulczycka, opening the regatta

The two teams representing EHG Nowa Sól did well, taking 5th and 8th place. The positive mood and the spirit of sporting rivalry continued until the end of the competition.

This is a great event that strengthens relationships between employees. Healthy competition and representing the company in a fun active way. There is a place for everyone, I recommend it!
– further elaborated Leszek Bugajewski

Erwin Hymer Group supports the Orphanage in Kożuchów
Corporate social responsibility is not an empty slogan – it is an important part of the activities of the Erwin Hymer Group company in Nowa Sól. As part of activities CSR Managing Director – Sönke Jensen decided to support children from the orphanage in Kożuchów.
The idea of supporting social activities was initiated during the organisation of an integration event for our employees. The idea had been brewing in my head for a long time, and I thought I would like to support charitable activities. EHG employees came to me and gave me the idea, informing me that there is an orphanage not far from our head office in Nowa Sól. And it was its wards that we could help.
– concludes Sönke Jensen Managing Director
Exactly on 21 January 2024, two EHG employees travelled to Kożuchów. And with him a food truck. 49 wards of the orphanage consumed their Sunday lunch in pleasant natural surroundings, in a somewhat unusual way.
Our visit to the Kożuchów facility was a very moving experience. The sight of the children – children remaining in the institution without their parents – will remain in my memory for longer. We shared with the children what made us happy too. The continuation of the Winter Party event that we organised for our Employees, the visit of a dedicated food truck to the Orphanage was a success, i.e. the joy of the children.
– adds Nick Albinus, EHG Employee
This action is the beginning of a joint journey between EHG and the Children’s Home in Kożuchów. EHG NS, as part of Thor Industries, prioritises the needs of people, the needs of the local environment. The visit to the Kożuchów Orphanage is part of the company’s activities. The management of EHG regularly supports charitable initiatives.
Underlying every CSR activity is the idea of process. We have decided that support for the Children’s Home in Kożuchów will be our flagship and permanent action. We would like to start broader cooperation with the charges of the institution there. I hope that this initiative will not only be a financial aid, but also the building of a lasting relationship between the Employees, EHG NS, and the wards of the Children’s Home. There are two values behind this initiative: development and relationship.
– says Paulina Zator Head of Commercial Excellence
